@Carla Sabin was curious if anyone from Iowa will be riding to Lake Superior.
I may have a 2nd bike coming with me so far. Not sure at this point but we will be leaving from near Des Moines, IA. I'm planning to leave 2 - 3 days before so I can just mosey on up. I'm not one to push too hard. Used to do that, now I just enjoy the ride. LOL

I'm been checking out the post and would like to go . Do I just need to book the hotels and meet at the Meetup motel. I am from outside of st Louis at Collinsville il. If anyone is coming this way going up can meet up . Bruce
Hey Bruce ... that is pretty much all .. book hotels and meet us in Munising .. I plan to leave from Chicago Friday morning, stop at the Harley museum for an hour at most and head out from there towards Munising ... @Rick Ramsey and a few others might do the same ... as we get closer to the date, we can plan to meet there

We're planning to join the group for just the Pictured Rocks portion of the ride, and have already booked at the Munising Comfort Inn for 5/29 - 5/31. When we leave there, we're going to ride over to the Soo Locks for a night or two, and then back home to Tennessee. Been wanting to see the Pictured Rocks area, and it would be cool to meet some of the group. Don't know if you still want us to register?

As some of us lucky enough to step away are taking a bit of time to enjoy the holidays, I wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a fabulous 2026. I’m really looking forward to seeing everyone at the end of May.
Back to ride planning for a moment—interest from the Raleigh area is higher than I expected, we are almost at 5-7 riders majority of them two-up. Mike and Jim from Canada are confirmed, and there may be a few more joining. Almost all lodging we’ve booked so far is refundable, so I highly recommend booking early to lock in better rates. If you’ve never visited Pictured Rocks or the Apostle Islands, I strongly recommend booking the boat/cruise at both locations—there’s a reason we’ve planned an extra day at each. As always, feel free to reach out if you have any questions.

How many already booked the Apostle and Pictured Rocks boat ride?
So, is there only the one operation there for cruises? All I find is Pictured Rock Cruises, with Classic Cruise and Spray Falls Cruise, with the latter being aboard their faster catamaran boats. I was going to book the Spray Falls Cruise at 10 am. Is that in line with what you're booking?
